It’s not the shortest of journeys, but it is a pretty straightforward one – the most used routes in to Spain from the UK come through Bordeaux, Toulouse and Marseille, ending up in Bilbao or Barcelona. Eurolines operating out of London’s Victoria Coach Station offer routes to a number of Spanish destinations. A standard pink EU driving license is the required driving documentation. If a photo licence is not held, an International Driving Permit must be obtained along with suitable photo ID.
